FAQ

Q: Can my school attend the conference if we have not started a program?
A: Yes – SRPU is dedicated to both new and prospective programs. The conference allows schools to get a look at how many different programs operate in order to determine what might work best at their particular institution.

 

Q: How much is the conference fee and what does it include?
A: The conference fee for 2016 will be $125 per attendee. Conference fees will include meals, transportation (around Tucson, as well as transportation to and from the Tucson International Airport) and any materials costs, such as booklets and t-shirts. Hotel costs will be separate.

 

Q: How do we pay after our school has registered?
A: Upon registration, you will be contacted to confirm registration and total conference costs. Please go to Payment for payment instructions. Conference fee payment will be separate from hotel room payment.

 

Q: What happens after we register?
A: Upon registration, you will be contacted to confirm registration and total conference costs. You will then pay conference costs and you will be contacted once we have received your payment. Please keep an eye on your email for future correspondence regarding the conference.

 

Q: What time does the conference begin and end?
A: Check-in for the conference will be on Thursday, January 28th from 1pm-4pm. The conference will begin promptly at 5pm. We will conclude the conference on Saturday, January 30th in the evening around 8pm or so. We will be transporting attendees to and from the airport for departure on Sunday. If you need to depart on Saturday evening after the conference, please email me at uasrpu2016@gmail.com, or go to the 'Contact Us' tab above to leave a message.

 

Q: How much are the hotel rooms and what type of rooms are they?
A: We have confirmed a rate of $109 per room per night, plus taxes at the Courtyard Marriott and $149 per room, per night at Aloft University Hotel. Payment will be separate from the conference fee payment. Please visit Step 5 on the Payment tab to view hotel options. Each room will be a double queen room that has two queen beds. You may fit approximately 4 people per room, depending on your rooming preferences. 

 

Q: Who should I contact if my University is interested in presenting on a topic at the conference?
A: Please go to 'Presentation Proposal' and submit the proposal form to indicate your interest in presenting a topic at the conference. Please make sure the topic you would like to present on is one that your program has effectively and efficiently implemented.

 

Q: What would happen in the event that we are unable to make the conference once we have paid?
A: Please go to Dates and Deadlines to view our cancellation policy and dates and deadlines of payment.

 

Q: I represent a business and am interested in presenting at the conference. Who do I contact to speak with about this?
A: Please go to 'Contact Us' and fill out the form with your information. We will contact your regarding our Corporate Involvement Opportunities!  

 

Q: If I have any further questions about anything, who should I contact?
A: Please go to 'Contact Us' and fill out the form with any questions pertaining to the conference. We will get back to you in quick and timely manner!
